Bridge Square beaver joins legacy of fluff
Jun.25 2007 at 08:35 by Griff Wigley

It wasn’t quite up there with the mother mallard and brood crossing Division in the annals of blog fluff but a beaver made its way through the intersection at 4th and Division this morning on its way across Bridge Square. Some pedestrians were evidently unsure who had the right-of-way. Photos courtesy of Rick Estenson, First National Bank downtown. Click to enlarge.

Sex al Fresco, then a Beaver in Bridge Square… My gosh, what is Locally Grown Northfield coming to?…
If he was munching on the grass and dropped popcorn in Bridge Square, would he be in violation of the Sidewalk Dining ordinance?
Maybe he was a contract beaver, checking out what needs to be done for the Malt-O-Meal Damn Reconstruction Project?
At least the beaver was using the crosswalk…
Great Stuff! Thanks Griff!
