Blaine isn’t buying idea that boxing matches are harmless

The city is moving ahead to ban unlicensed fights of any kind, be it “ultimate fighting” or the boxing nights teens have staged.

Anyone know if Northfield area teens are staging their own fight nights?

I can just see Division Street sidewalks with sidewalk dining (with beer and wine) interspersed with a cage-match or two. Of course, with our passive-agressive nature, these might be pretty boring. Instead, maybe ultimate-online-fighting could be available on Locally Grown. We could have no-holds-barred, no-rules, no-moderation, flame-fest on some hot topic or other. Wow! The ideas just keep coming. Now THAT’s bohemian! Maybe I’ll send the kids.
