When I reported that I thought it was about $300, I must have been delusional. The kids sold everything from pet bunnies to church pews to sports equipment. Thank you to the three families who donated their proceeds to the Skater's fundraiser! Thank you 5th Bridge! And, thank you caring friends, neighbors, and supporters of these young people who have really tried to work through the system to get what they believe this community needs-- a Skate Plaza. Mary F. The Northfield Skateboard Coalition raised over $300 at our address alone to go toward the construction of the new Skate Plaza - with many community members donating above and beyond the cost of their purchases. Several other garage sale supporters are also donating their garage sale proceeds to the hard-working, ever-persistent Skateboard Coalition's efforts.
