Locally Grown: show for week of 10.08.06

locally_grown_team_minus_ross.jpgFor this week’s show, we reviewed issues from last year’s episodes that are still current, including:

downtown streetscape, library expansion, sidewalk dining, liquor store relocation, Q-Block, traffic light at Hwy 3, etc.

You won’t hear Ross Currier’s voice today, as he was evidently interviewing for a hosting job on another radio talk show. So we punished him by inserting a little theme music at the start and end of the show without his permission.

Click play to listen (30 minutes). You can also download the MP3 File, subscribe to the podcast feed, or subscribe with iTunes. The show airs and streams on the web on Tuesdays at 4:30 PM on KRLX 88.1 FM.

…but that does not necessarily represent the thoughts of the NDDC or the Planning Commission…

[...] Although I told Griff that I was going to be out of town for the most recent podcast, he forgot that small detail and joined Tracy in slandering my good name, adding insipid music to the show, and, perhaps most offensive of all, putting a red “x” through my image. [...]
