A colleague of mine, Lee LeFever, posted this screencast video on RSS to his Common Craft blog this week. Since Northfield’s civic blogosphere depends heavily on RSS, and since many of you probably don’t take advantage of it, let alone understand it, I thought I’d post it here.

We made this video for our friends (and yours) that haven’t yet felt the power of our friend the RSS reader. We want to convert people… if you know someone who would love RSS and hasn’t yet tried it, point them here for 3.5 minutes of RSS in Plain English.

There are two types of Internet users, those that use RSS and those that don’t. This video is for the people who could save time using RSS, but don’t know where to start.
