A MNDOT crew was on the So. Hwy 3 bridge yesterday morning.
Can you guess what they were doing?

It’s an attempt to solve the budget shortfall. the Gov has assigned MNDOT workers the task of digging for buried treasure.
Some states are sending their Dept of Revenue employees to Vegas. put it on 22 and hope for the best.
Silly MNDOT workers. Everyone knows that treasure doesn’t live under bridges -- trolls do.
Treasure lives at the spot marked X, three paces due south of the tallest palm tree on Dead Man’s Island.
You guys suck at this!
Where’s John Thomas?
Hint: grease!
Griff- Are you hinting that someone’s (Patrick’s?) palm was being “greased” here? Or was it the expansion bearings on the bridge supports?
Grease is the word that was heard.
They are greasing the steel expansion joints on the bridge. (Preventative maintenance)
Patent # 4893448 -- Steel Bridge Expansion Joints
Right on, boys. What I didn’t realize is that they actually jack the bridge up to do it. See the spacers?
Griff- Do you suppose they use a jack-of-all-trades for this?
