NDDC head honcho Ross Currier made sure his brother-in-law brought his magic umbrella downtown last night for the Taste of Northfield. The weather gods showed their pleasure with Ross, as did many of the women in attendance.

Actually, I think my title is “Implementer of the Honchoes’ Objectives”. The NDDC Head Honcho is none other than Keith Covey, Vice Honcho is Joe Grundhoefer, Secretary Honcho is Jessica Paxton and Treasurer Honcho is Dave Shumway, and, in Griff-speak, the Queen Mum of the Taste is Anastasia Balfany.

WOW! This event gets better every year. Nice job by the honchoes and all the volunteers. I love the slogan on the t-shirts: “Great downtowns don’t just happen”. What a great place to live.
