Locally Grown: show for week of 11.05.06

Our show this week was all over the local map (Mishmash. Potpourri. Grab bag.  Miscellany) since we didn’t have a guest to anchor us. Call it the short attention span show, like the 10 o’clock news on TV.

We did insert and respond to Glenn Switzer’s comments about the Rice County transportation corridor planning, which led to a discussion of the proposed ethanol plant, which led to a discussion of Howard and Heidi’s departure, which led to a discussion about lack of voting information, which led to a discussion about the lack of political candidate endorsements by the Northfield News, which led to a discussion of their inappropriate headline on the referenda, which led to a discussion of the lack of implementation of the approved streetscape projects, which led to a discussion of  the Greenway Corridor, which led to a discussion of ArtsPlan06. Whew.
