Paul is in love with Carmen

Paul Niemistö, conductor of the Cannon Valley Regional Orchestra (CVRO), among other roles, stopped by my corner office at the GBM on Tuesday to give me the promo pitch for the Nov. 1 performance of "an abridged concert version" of Carmen – which means that a cast of singers will be on stage with the orchestral musicians.
