Vote for CABB (Anna and Connor) in Garage Band Playoff 2009

I blogged Anna Balfany here on LoGroNo back in June as she prepared for her Taste of Northfield performance. Now she and her brother Connor have formed a band called CABB and they’re competing at U Turn’s Garage Band Playoff 2009 starting today through Oct. 29. Watch out Meredith Fierke and Gospel Gossip.

Dear Griff,

Hi! This is Anna Balfany, Anastasia’s daughter. My brother and I wrote a song for a usaa garage band contest, and we got into the top 24 out of over 80 contestants! Our band name is CABB, and our song’s name is Roadtrip. It’s about the freedom of the road and how great it feels to go on adventures.

So now people get to start voting! The voting for round one starts on Friday, Oct 23 through Thursday, Oct 29 at noon. People can vote as many times as you want. Also, just by voting you have a chance to win an ipod touch, the more times you vote, the better your chance to win an ipod touch! The website for voting is www.garagebandplayoff.com and our band CABB will be on the website Friday at 9:00am.

I was going to ask you a big favor, if you could place our poster on Locally Grown and help let people know about the voting for CABB. Maybe we could even try to make a link. Our goal is to try to get as many people as possible to vote for us, and for people to pass the link and info on to more people. There are four rounds – this is round one. If we win this round, we progress on. The final contest is decided on December 18. There’s more information in the document below.
