I’ve put up a bunch of annoying Locally Grown membership ad banners… up top, on the right, and at the top of discussion threads. (Hey, at least they add some color to the boring new theme I’ve installed.)

You can remove the banner ads from your view, become a sidebar blogger, and do a good deed at the same time. Read the Membership FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) and then click and join.

Membership week goal: 25 new members. I’ll keep you posted on the totals here.

You added Banner Ads?

Funny, I am using Firefox with the Ad Block Plus (ABP) Ad blocker. I have been using it for about six months, so I do not even see the ads, just white space.

I guess I will have to see if I have a copy of IE around here somewhere and check out the ads.
