KYMN, a friend that can’t be counted on (to find on the web)

Why is Northfield’s KYMN 1080 AM the only radio station owned by Ingstad Brothers Broadcasting that doesn’t have a web site? The New Prague, New Ulm, and Sleepy Eye stations all have web sites. Two even have streaming audio.

I just learned from Mary Rossing’s blog comment here that her entertainment show, What’s Happening Downtown is

… live on Friday mornings at 8:45 am with rebroadcasts at 5:00-ish and then again on Saturday mornings at 8:45 am… Paul Grandquist follows on Friday mornings with her show, Art Zany-Radio for the Imagination, which is a wonderful celebration of art and music and creativity in Northfield.

Former KYMN owner Wayne Eddy does in-depth interviews of local citizens that I often hear about after the fact. None of these shows can be linked to/listened to after they air.

C’mon Jim (Jim Bartels, VP of Ingstad Brothers Broadcasting), step up to the digital plate!
