Dick was a long-time businessman in Northfield (upholstery) and provided me with photos of the West Side business district as it was before highway 3 intruded, as seen in the 2009 Froggy Times. And Dick gave me a photo of his father Carl as a King---watch for it in January's Entertainment Guide. Dick has an abiding love for the town he grew up in and is happy to share his knowledge of its history, even as he contributes happiness everywhere through his snow globe repairs.
