La Vencedora becomes Sosa’s Market and Restaurant

In June of 2008, I blogged about La Vencedora, the Mexican grocery, deli, and restaurant that reopened in the old Maria’s building in the Q Block at Hwy 3 and 2nd. I see it now has become Sosa’s Market and Restaurant (“Autentica Comida Mexicana”).

Anyone been there or know the new proprietors?

I pick up food there on ocassion and ate in the restaurant once. The food is very good.
We used to live in TX the home of great mexican food in the US. This place compares well.
Although I haven’t had a chance to try their menudo yet, they only have it o the weekend.
