Podcast: a dozen issues covered in our summer studio home at KYMN

After a 3-week hiatus, it was just us Locally Grown co-hosts doing the show yesterday, yakking about a dozen different issues. It was our 50th show overall (woo woo! see the archives) and our first recorded at the studios of KYMN 1080 AM, downtown Northfield on Division.

Right photo: we had a live studio audience. KYMN programming director Jeff Johnson (left) was joined by photographer Jeff Thompson and reporter Sarah Lemagie from the Star Tribune who were there to chronicle the momentous occasion. I’ll reveal their names as soon as they let me.

The show that we pre-recorded yesterday airs today (Thursday, June 21) at 5:30 pm. But thanks to Jeff Johnson, starting next week (June 27) and then throughout the summer, we’ll be doing the show LIVE on Wednesdays at 5:30 PM . Yep, that means you’ll be able to call-in and we just might take your questions and comments on the air. Let us know if you’d like to be a ‘plant’ next week, as we’d hate to launch a call-in show and not have anyone call in. (We’ll try to get our act together and announce our main topic and/or guest ahead of time.)

Click play to listen. 30 minutes.

Our show, Locally Grown, airs Wednesdays live at 5:30 PM on KYMN 1080 AM. You can also subscribe to the podcast feed, or subscribe with iTunes. We seek your comments and suggestions.
