Ask Wayne Eddy how he is

IMG_3380.JPGBudweiser, the official beer of the 2007 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, (sorry, I’m not going to link there because thus far they’re not interested in sponsoring our sex al fresco straw poll. Go figure.) brought their Clydesdales to town this week.

I took this photo of Wayne Eddy Wed. morning out behind Valley Autohaus where the horses are being housed (stabled?). He was doing an interview of the Clydesdales’ crew manager for his “Wayne Eddy Affair” radio show on KYMN. No Clydesdales shows in Northfield are planned, but they will be making beer runs in Belle Plaine, Shakopee, and other towns for Dundas-based College City Beverage.

I took these photos of Wayne (click to enlarge) on Bridge Square during the 4th of July festivities last week. He let me take closeup photos of his prosthetic leg which has some interesting photos on it. Everytime I see Wayne, I ask him, “Hey Wayne, how are you?” because I trying to train him to say, “Oh, I can’t kick.” Thus far, he appears to not be trainable, but maybe with your help…

I’m pretty sure that when Julia Child and Jacques Pepin did their show on menu planning for sex al fresco, they suggested a white and two reds…that would be wine, not beer…to accompany the multi-course meal and/or activity.

I think that you were pursuing a sponsor with the wrong spirit.
