Photo album: Downtown stores, dressed up for Winter Walk 2010

Since downtown snow removal begins tonight at midnight, I took a few photos earlier this evening of some of the downtown stores that are all dressed up in Winter Walk 2010 (this Thursday, Dec. 9) holiday garb, with the snow piles as a backdrop. I added a few other downtown shots, too.

  1. Looks so pretty, I will miss Northfield and the wonderful community spirit and the pretty downtown lights and festivities. But I will remember the many good times and great eateries and shops with delight. I guess I’ll have to come back from time to time to see friends, have a look around and maybe a bite.

  2. That very white street lighting installed on Division a couple years ago actually seems to be showing its effectiveness — things seem lit so well for a night event like this. A shame the lights on 5th Street are such a dramatically different hue (and for that matter, lighting the Muni parking lot).
