I snapped these photos (left and center) of Jane Fenton, Director of Community Relations at Laura Baker Services Association, at the Rotary Summer Social recently, using a particular type of ‘facial English’ to help her deftly sink peanuts and softballs in the buckets. She used the tactic in her bidding at last week’s Taste of Northfield auction and it landed her a half-hour ride in an open cockpit biplane, donate by Lt. Col. Mike Balfany. Her son (right in right photo) appears to be positioning himself to accompany her. Click photos to enlarge.
