Wayne Eddy can’t kick about this plaque

Wayne Eddy was inducted into the Museum of Broadcasting Hall of Fame last weekend.

I took this photo (left) of the plaque he received when I was at KYMN studios today. Click to enlarge and you’ll be able to read the text. (See Ray Cox’s blog post for more on the event, as he and Ellen attended.)

The Northfield community is honoring Wayne tonight, Nov. 1, with an event at the Grand. (If you go, be sure to ask him the question.) Cash bar with light hors d’oeuvres opens at 5:30 pm. Program begins at 7:00 pm.

My favorite photo of Wayne is one I took at the dedication of the Northfield Area Veteran’s Memorial.
