A mother comes to town, to depart somewhat proud

Ross Currier and mother MarilynBlue Moon String Band Phoebe Currier and Ross Currier

Ross’ mom Marilyn paid a visit to Northfield last night, ostensibly for her birthday. But she was actually doing an investigation of her son’s performance as a blogger, podcaster, water color artist and bass guitar player for the Blue Moon String Band which was performing at The Cow last night where I took these photos.

She pronounced him marginally adequate and plans to return home tomorrow. However, his daughter Phoebe, a youth board member for the Union of Youth, was not quite willing to go that far.
