My father volunteered there, and I once took a picture of him dispensing popcorn, amid smiling faces of recipients. My father died in 2002, before I moved here in 2004. The popcorn wagon brings back happy memories. And I love the name of popcorn in Spanish, palomitas de maíz, which means "little doves of corn." íViva palomitas de maíz!
