Carla Thompson opened The Barefoot Studio at 418 Division St this summer. I paid a brief visit on Friday. On her website’s About page:

I have a degree in graphic design and have been painting murals in homes and businesses since 1991. I recently decided to venture out and try selling paintings at art fairs, stores and galleries. It’s so much fun! I love meeting the people who buy my stuff….it really makes me smile when I hear laughter or comments about my work. I still enjoy painting on walls and appreciate any business you send my way!

That’s pretty cool. I hope to have my NEW professional website soon. It will highlight the new studio. Thanks so much! I really appreciate it. The locally grown blog will be my new “habit” each morning as I drink my coffee.
