City announces shade tree program

In 2009, the City of Northfield will offer a Shade Tree Replacement Program. This program is intended to both offer replacement trees for the boulevard and/or front yard to residential properties within the City of Northfield limits. The trees are offered on a first come-first served basis starting April 6, 2009 and ending on April 17, 2009. A property owner may order up to six trees, provided the placement of the tree(s) meets the guidelines established by the City.
