Northfielder Mike Farris is leaving on Tuesday to begin his journey up Mount Everest. He has a web site for his new book, The Altitude Experience, where he has an Everest 2009 page and an Everest 2009 trip blog. He talked about his adventure in his home on Friday morning.

Mike Farris is back home in Northfield. He made it to the top of Mt. Everest but has frostbite on his fingers, toes, and nose. See his blog for details.

He’s also quoted in today’s Strib article about the death of 2007 Carleton grad Wade Johnson: Body of Minnesota climber found in China. More on Johnson’s death here on the Carleton site.
