As you tell by the smiles on the faces of Mark Murphy, Barbara Burke, Paul Krause, Bill McGrath, and Dean Kjerland, people were pretty pleased with the weather for today’s 2011 opening of Riverwalk Market Fair.

2 PM update: I mistakenly added Mike Piper’s blog, thinking that he was the Republican endorsed candidate for 25B. Kelby Woodard is the endorsed candidate but he currently doesn’t have a blog or RSS feed. I’ve removed Mike Piper’s blog.

Sgt. Mark Murphy’s new responsibility, perks

Northfield Police Sergeant Mark Murphy has evidently been given responsibility for plowing the parking lots at the Northfield Safety Center. The task comes with a few perquisites: his own parking space, complete with his own sign post inscribed with the police officer’s coat of arms. A new uniform has also been ordered.
