Okeh, Demetrio said he was going to Google “Main Street 2.0” and see who was blogging about it. However, these techie types always seem to find time to search for their name too and I’m betting Demetrio may find a double draw on this post.
Demetrio gave a presentation on using social media and on-line communication to promote your main street, or downtown district, at the Main Street 2.0 Conference. He works at Community Media Workshop, also found at “newstips.org“. I guess if I were to try to summarize their mission, it would be to help the voiceless find their voices through new media.
