Dr. Mark Werner gave Northfield Mayor Mary Rossing and City Administrator Joel Walinski a tour of the 62,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility under construction that’s now attached to his Cannon Valley Veterinary Clinic on So. Hwy 3. The building will house Pharmaceutical Solutions and Veterinary Provisions, two companies of the Mike Strobel–Mark Werner Partnership. See my Nov. 2007 blog post for more details on the companies and my Aug. 2008 blog post for construction photos.

I hope Mary will tell us about that tour. I’ve been concerned about the seeming lack of progress in the construction. At least that’s how it appears from the highway.

    Jane,
My impression is that the project is on schedule. This is an amazing facility that, because of FDA restrictions, has very complex hepa air and water processing systems. I was fascinated by the engineering–how product comes in, how it moves through the processing and then to packing and picking and shipping. The final testing and ok from the FDA should coincide with the completion of construction. When up and operational, they will employ 150 people, which will be a great boon to the Northfield community. A huge thank you to both Mark Werner and Mike Strobel for investing in our community!
