Woodley Street reconstruction: is all well?

I took these photos earlier this week of the Woodley Street reconstruction / (CSAH 28) roadway improvements project. The City Engineer’s web page for the project has an Aug. 2008 newsletter. Engineering firm WSB and Associates’ web site for the project only says on its notices/newsletter page: “Updates will be added as information becomes available.”

Qwest phone and XCEL gas continued to work on relocating their facilities on this year’s phase of construction. Qwest still anticipates 2 more weeks to finish the relocates. Friedges Construction indicated they will start the next Phase of construction as soon as these relocates are complete. Friedges did have a crew on-site working on final grading and trail work on last years construction Phase from Waters Edge Town homes to 900′ east of Jefferson Parkway. Friedges intends to concentrate on getting this area complete while waiting for relocation activities to finish up. A project newsletter was mailed out at the end of the week informing residents along the project corridor of the upcoming construction schedule.
