A supermercado called La Eskina has replaced the Dundas Corner Mart on Hwy 3 just south of the Frandsen Bank. The signs say “Bakery, hot deli, meat market, fresh guacamole, tacos, fresh pico de gallo, breakfast tacos, tamales, burritos.”

I have to check this out. I’m a big fan of La Vencedora, but I’m always on the lookout for more options for good tacos and tamales.
I’ve been there. just bought milk though. they did have food available, smelled good.

As a Spanish teacher, I wonder about the spelling “Eskina,” since “Esquina” is the word for “Corner.” A gringo-ization, perhaps?
