Hoar frost photo album coming

hoar frost at St. Olafhoar frost at St. OlafI spent hours on Tuesday morning taking about 300 photos (some macros) of the spectacular hoar frost, mostly around downtown but also a few at St. Olaf and Malt-O-Meal. Here’s a preview. I hope to have them up sometime this weekend.

Hi Angela, thanks for link to the photo. Good to have another professional photographer chiming in here. I think that makes 4: Bridgette Hallcock, Dan Iverson, Scott Davis and now you.

Griff, I am so sick and tired of your pejoratives. I had just gotten you out of the habit of saying, “Tracy, you ignorant slut”, and there you go maligning the frost’s morals, for no good reason. Who you callin’ a hoar? Plus, this is a family site, and I don’t think photos would be appropriate.

Griff- Are you going to narrate your album with a hoar story?

Great pictures of the beautiful frosty morn’s! As I shared my own pictures on Facebook, my cousin in Norway also shared some from his home in Trondheim. Amazing how the beauty of the hoarfrost stretches from country to country; enjoy! http://www.adressa.no/tjenester/bildeserier/article1432602.ece
