The status of the Northfield Erbert and Gerbert’s sub sandwich shop on the west end of the footbridge is closing unclear. The sign on the door of Larson’s Printing says “Commercial site available. Restaurant/Retail/Office.”

Jeez, another one bites the dust. Not good.
I’ve changed the title of the blog post to: “Erbert and Gerbert’s status unclear”
and I’ve changed the first sentence to read:
“The status of the Northfield Erbert and Gerbert’s sub sandwich shop on the west end of the footbridge is unclear.”
I’ve run a strikethrough the word ‘closing’ as the owner called me today today to say they weren’t closing.
But it’s still not clear what’s happening, as Larson’s Printing still has the sign in their door and is running ads that the space is available.
A neighbor phoned me last night to report that staff were removing boxes of items from the store and that two ‘closed’ signs were taped to the inside of their doors. I confirmed the latter this morning.
The owner hasn’t yet phoned me with an update. Heh.
Griff,
As you now know Erbert and Gerberts has closed and will be removing items in the next few days. They were hoping to find a new buyer but that fell through and their lease ends on the 31st.
So, anyone interested in the space please contact us at Larson’s Printing. http://www.larsonsprinting.com
