What’s Up with the Boat in the Cannon?

Yesterday afternoon I noticed a boat in the middle of the Cannon River.

Now, I suppose it’s not all that unusual to find a boat in a river. However, I don’t often see them in the Cannon, particularly not so close to the falls, for interested you can have it at newport beach boat rental.
