- The Ely Chamber of Commerce’s International Dairy Queen Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (IDQBWCAW). See the PiPress article for details, since the Chamber’s site evidently can’t handle the traffic. Oy.
- The new sizes available at Starbucks.
- The four stories at the top of the Northfield.org blog.

I’m impressed that despite the surprise annexation of Northfield into the Township of Waterford that occured earlier today, our Mayor is still Mary Rossing. That’s quite a political feat.
Probably has something to do with the Township hardware store shenanigans.
There was an article in today’s Strib that a woman was lost in the skyway for several weeks and lived on discarded cinnabons until a couple of college students returning from their relief work in Haiti discovered her and helped her find her way back to her hotel. She claimed that people in the skyway won’t look at you or talk to you the way they do on the street. Did anybody else notice?
Mary is still mayor because it was a reverse acquisition–a transaction well-known to CPAs but not to doctors or lawyers.
