Orgasmic restaurant to open soon on Division

Orgasmic Restaurant - Northfield Orgasmic Restaurant - Northfield
The Orgasmic restaurant is opening up soon on Division St. between 3rd and 4th.  Gourmet pizza!

The exterior sign went up Tuesday (not a Jim Bohnhoff sign) after they finished replacing the concrete sidewalk in front of the restaurant with attractive ceramic tiles. (Hopefully, they’ll have sidewalk dining.) Yesterday I got a peek inside at the upper level after workers hauled in furniture.

And in a nice touch:

They have this poster on the wall for fans of “I’ll have what she’s having.”

Oh, great!!! How soon can I bring my inquisitive 8-year-old to learn some new vocabulary items along with her dinner?

No kidding! Why would I open that “can of worms” for yet another slice of pizza?

Okeh Griff, you yanked the prankster.

I was thinking “I haven’t heard ANY rumors; I walked that block at least twice yesterday, including late afternoon; there’d have to be a code kitchen”…while trying to visualize that facade.

Then I thought about the likelihood of someone doing a custom sidewalk…it would probably require two trips to the Planning Commission, a forty-eight page memo and two PowerPoint presentations by City staff (engineering consultants would have to be engaged), the opinion of the HPC, a special Work Session and full vote of the Council, and the variances of at least three ordinances.

No way that could have happened without a front page article in the Northfield News, a staff-drafted editorial on the opinion page, and a half dozen anonymous comments. Perhaps, in total desperation, the applicant would have even agreed to appear on the LoGroNo Show.

Silly me, it must be Friday.

    Proof that you’re stressed, Ross…
Any Lo -Groaner would recognize Griff’s faux news by the naming word choices… 🙂

So, I’m stumped. Where is this? Or is it made up? But I really don’t get why it would be made up, given that April’s well gone by. So very confused. Anybody?

Laura- You have discovered that Griff does not need a day in April to pull a prank. Even though there are a number of posters here who are very serious about their subject matter (I am not one of those, by the way, depending on the subject matter), Griff likes to get a good faux news article going now and then just to add some humor and variety. Don’t take any offense if you feel duped by this report. We all have experienced the feeling.
