I got an email nudge last week from Shona Murphy, one of the four owners of Eclectic Goat, the “Artists Consignment Warehouse” at 418 Division Street. (Shona is also one of the artisans at the Fine Craft Collective.)
I hadn’t been in their store since they took it over from Carla Thompson last year when it was called Barefoot Studio. I stopped in Friday afternoon, met another co-owner, Joleen Emery (photo above), and took a few photos.
Suzanne Klumb and Jenifer O’Donnell are the other co-owners, collectively called the Goat Girls, as the sandwich board sign on the sidewalk says. They don’t have a website but they’ve recently put up an Eclectic Goat Facebook page: “The Little Shop Where ART rules! We have over 75 local and national artists that sell their completed works in our store.”
I’ve added their Facebook page to our Locally Grown directory of Northfield area Facebook pages and added them to the Favorite Pages on the sidebar of our Locally Grown Northfield Facebook Page (now up to 91).
I invited them to chime in here with comments to give us more information about their store.
