In comment #281 of the heroin discussion thread, Marie Fischer, president of the Youth Board for the Northfield Union of Youth, posted this earlier tonight:
The Key is indeed holding a discussion on everything surrounding heroin, drugs, and youth. Adults are welcome (as always) and we hope to have a very interesting conversation between age groups, and we hope that we can look forward to asking each other questions. The discussion will be Monday at 7:00 (sorry if this is short notice) at the Key. Every regular poster on Locally Grown seems to be very involved in this topic, and I hope some of you could make it.
Marie, Max, Josh, Gilly, Kiffi and several parents whose kids are regulars at The Key have been regularly participating in the discussion here on Locally Grown and the dialogue has been the better for it. I’m really pleased that they’re hosting this event. I plan to be there and I hope many of you join me.
