It’s relatively easy to share your good fortune with those in need in good times. It’s not so easy when times are tough, but that’s the time when character is mostly clearly revealed. The United Way deserves your utmost consideration in this, a tough year for so many.
I have known Betsy Spethmann for almost 30 years and the Northfield United Way is extremely fortunate to have her on their team. Her impressive resume and career of accomplishments could take her anywhere in the world but knowing that her heart, soul and phenomenal talents are in Northfield is just one more reason that I consider her an exceptional human being.
