That’s so exciting and good to know that we’ll have something new to eat, as well as another business that provides jobs in our town. I hope it’s good and is able to survive!

I hope they feature delivery ..and GOOD fried rice!!
I’d order from them twice a week all winter long. If the fried rice is GOOD, I’d drive 2 more days.

I wonder if they can find a good chef that doesn’t have to go out for a wok during the dinner rush? 😉

Today’s Nfld News: Local dining options to expand with Japanese restaurant

Qui Zedong and his family already own multiple restaurants, but will open another in the building that formerly housed Wendy’s in Northfield.

“I have heard a lot of good things about Northfield and there is a spot available so we thought (it was) a good opportunity for us,” he said on Tuesday. “We’re going to have a full sushi bar … and going to have a hibachi grill on site, also made-to-order.”

We had a great meal at this restaurant last night. Fresh sashimi, light and crispy tempura, a delicious ‘special’ roll filled with chunks of soft shell crap… all attractively presented. Attentive and professional servers delivered the meal quickly even though they were quite busy. The interior space is pleasing to the eye without a hint of a fast food style.
