I’m in Crosby, MN this weekend for the Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Festival and the grand opening of the Cuyuna Mountain Bike Trail System in the five-thousand acre Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area (CCSRA).
Last night I paid a visit to the Cycle Path and Paddle store and met the owner, Jenny Smith. When I asked for her recommendation on a good restaurant with wi-fi, she promptly referred me to Maucieri’s Italian Bistro, Bar & Deli.
Tony Maucieri has created a terrific little restaurant (and a similar one in Crosslake). I was pleasantly surprised to experience great food (lasagna, cannoli), fine wines and beers, and great ambiance.
Northfield needs a restaurant like this.
Griff,
If you are still there, try the BBQ/Rib joint in Ironton. Not much to look at but great eats.
I highly recommend Augusto’s Ristorante in Faribault. I guarantee it is worth the trip!
I had a lovely apple Gorgonzola salad with a maple vinaigrette and chicken Alfredo. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meal and the friendly service.
