I briefly blogged about Sweet Pea’s Loft back in September when they first opened.
Last weekend, I had a chance to meet the store’s owners, the husband/wife team of Jerold Weber and Nicole Maloney, when I took a photo of their scarecrow.
Jerold’s also a custom woodworker who displays his work in the store.
[I tried to work in a clever line here about how I had to ‘take a pea’ while I was there but I decided it would be in poor taste.]
As a close personal friend to the previous owner, I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors! Thanks again for selling my daughters their “perfect pets”. Love the new logo and design. Hope you’re ready for the upcoming holiday shopping season.
Regards,
Tim
Just wanted to say thanks to Griff, Tim and everyone else for their support. Having the support of the community makes starting a new business a very fun adventure. Hope to see everyone soon, shopping early for the holidays.
Thanks again,
Jerry
Someone I know reasonably well won 1st place ($50 gift certif) in the candy heart contest at Sweet Pea’s Loft this week. Proprietor Nicole Maloney blogged the details on Northfield.org.
To All
I have visited Jerry and Nicole’s Sweat Pea Loft several times when I’m in the area [ golfing or just wandering about town aimlessly] and can say without a doubt that their shop is a great joy to walk into,….the selection of gifts, accessories and novelty items for purchase is large and interesting. I especially like the original art works they sometimes have….Jerry is a master woodworker and Nicole just knows how to decorate and supply her shop with quality goods. I highly recommend a vist to all !
Sincerely
Rob Dougherty
