They’re turning books into projectiles and even drawing blood over the issue.

What is interesting to me is that this picture is taken on Boulevard Rene Levesque (re-named for the father of the Quebec separation movement in the 70’s) in the heart of downtown Montreal…and all those flags are Canadian flags and not Quebec flags. Truly unusual. See, there’s nothing like arts and cultural issues for uniting a country! Or (and here’s the Northfield connection) a community like ours!
