Grand Marais, MN is noted for being a picturesque town on the North Shore of Lake Superior but if you turn away from the harbor and just look at the buildings downtown, it’s pretty much an architectural disaster.
It makes me appreciate the beauty of downtown Northfield and its historic buildings, for example:
