Tackle Global Warming

UltimateEarth.jpgLocal green activists, in cooperation with St. Olaf College and Carleton College, can learn more about what we can do locally to make a real difference globally.

The activities are part of Focus the Nation, an effort that will bring together some 10,000 groups across the country to discuss global warming solutions.

For details, see the St. Olaf and Carleton websites or the Focus the Nation website.

Lester Brown has a new book out called “Plan B 3.0.” I’m eagerly awaiting my copy, but in the meantime the first chapter is online at earthpolicy.org. It’s extremely pertinent both in terms of why we should care and what we can do.
