    Hey Griff –

I was trying to find a cute baby wearing the button for my post but all I could get were some of the Bottom of the Barrel Boys, er…uh, the Shop Local Dancers, and they just didn’t cut it in the cute department.

Perhaps NDDC President Mary Rossing would like to comment on the buttons.

    Thanks much,

    Ross

I know who that baby is! She is the cutest baby ever! Ask my dad, I bet he will agree! Right Tim?! Next time you see my sister Coryn, let her know that her baby is adorable:)

I commented on northfield.org. Buttons are available at Present Perfect, Tiny’s digs, By All Means Graphics and the Contented Cow. They will also be available at NDDC events. All you need to do is make a donation of $1 or more to the NDDC and you can have one! they come in black, white, yellow and blue.

You know, you should look into licensing that photograph, with half the proceeds going to her college fund, and the other half going to the NDDC.

I would wear a shirt with her on it proudly. That is a CUTE kid. Seriously… $20 shirt, with about $4 going to the college fund, and $4 to the NDDC. We could use one of our local print shop to produce them, such as Larson’s Printing.

It just goes to show that all the cute girls are in Northfield, visit Northfield, shop Northfield, blog Northfield, and ride strollers on the sidewalk. 😎

Hey John, how about a percentage for the poor, starving, and nameless photographer? 😉

Thats what the up front liscensing fee is for Griff… 😎

Maybe it will be enough to cover the cost of a refill at GBBM.

I still think we should do this…even if we do a limited run of them.

I am thinking the picture on the front, with a nice catch phrase on the front, then a SHOP DOWTOWN on the back, with 3 columns of listings of the local businesses on the back, similar to a shirt you would get from a sponsored run or bike race.

I think it would be darn cool.

Hot pink for the ladies, and perhaps a white for the guys.

It shouldn’t take much to put it together. Perhaps By All Means Graphics could donate the graphics setup for thier ad, and Larsons could print some for thier portion of the ad…

This would be a profit maker through both the sale of the ads on the shirt, as well as the sale of the shirts themselves.

As they sell, more can be printed, thus you have a continious revenue stream

Once a year, you change out the image on the front, and they become a collectable. The image on the front is a contest winner from a photo contest that you hold, with a cash prize, of the best photo taken downtown that year.

The entry into the contest, and the cash prize take care of the liscensing of the photos, as the photos become property of the NDDC upon contest submission.

    Pretty simple to set up…

I say we figure out a way to get it done! 😎
