We’ve started inviting a variety of community leaders to submit commentary pieces here on Locally Grown. The first to respond is former Dundas mayor Glenn Switzer, co-owner of Switzer’s Nursery and Landscaping.

He sent us this audio commentary, touching on the Dundas Business and Professional Group, the County State Aid Highway 1 (CSAH 1) Corridor Preservation Study (maps and photos from recent meeting below – click images to enlarge), and the Mill Towns State Trail.

See this Google Map for more detail on what Glenn calls “spaghetti junction,” the intersection of Hwy 246, Cty 81/Cty 1, and Cty 21/Falk Trail/Gates Ave. He notes that there’s a public hearing on the study coming up on Feb. 22 at the NCRC.

Click play to listen. 8 min, 20 sec.

Glenn’s on vacation for the next ten days but promises to respond to comments when he returns.
