I was among the adults standing in line at Target on Sunday morning, hoping to get one of the available Wii Fit games available when the doors opened at 8am.
I was hoping that Target would issue numbers so we didn’t have to run to the back of the store when the doors opened in fear of losing our place in line and not getting one of the coveted items in stock. Alas, I was told by some of the veteran shoppers, no such policy existed.
So we all agreed to abide by Kindergarten rules when the doors open. Single file, no running/pushing/elbowing/tripping one another. “Let’s be dignified, people! We don’t want to look like the crazy consumers we are!”
It worked.
