Major Transportation Meeting Tonight

Tonight’s the night (Thursday, July 31st) of the Open House on Transportation. The meeting will be held at the Northfield High School (1400 Division Street South) in the Upper Cafeteria, from 4 to 7 pm.

The purpose of this meeting will be to preview the recommendations for the City’s 2030 Transportation Plan. Information on both the Draft Updated Transportation Plan and the Northwest Corridor Study will be available.

    …I should make clear that this is not a lecture, PowerPoint presentation, or any kind of formal sit and listen. The materials will be available for viewing and staff/consultants will be available for questioning.

    …I was just contacted by MNDoT and reminded that the

    Draft Northfield Area Access Management and Safety Plan (for Minnesota Highway 19 from Interstate 35 to Minnesota Highway 3)

    and the

    Draft Access Management Overlay Ordinance (for Minnesota Highway 19)

    will also be part of the Joint Open House.
