You’re welcome, Ann. I only saw the first half and most of that was when my brain was inside my camera. So I’ll be back for the real thing.

Some Grandmaws were in the audience opening night and LOVED the show. However, viewer beware, this is some strong “sex, drugs and rock’n’roll” kind of stuff.

Mr. Wigley, these photos are fabulous.
Can we work out a deal so I can run one or two alongside our Rocky review in the Manitou Messenger at St. Olaf?

Sorry I’m resorting the blog commenting, but I’ve tried various other methods of communication and they have ALL failed.

    thanks,

Thanks for the compliment, Annie. You should have an email from me now. Yes, use whatever photos you want. Credit is nice but not required. However, you might want to use the high-res versions of the photos so let me know if you’d like them.

Hey, cast members, how might clueless audience members (like me) learn the audience participation stuff? I need coaching before I show up on Friday night.

  13. Griff,

There’s a cheat sheet in the participation kit that we are selling in the lobby before the show. That will be a starter. There are a couple call-out lines that get used throughout the play that you’ll pick up on. There’s a great deal of variety in the call-out lines that have developed throughout the years; so nothing too standardized. Some of the funniest ones are the lines no one has heard before. I’m more wondering what men will have the courage to show up in high heels and fishnet stockings. I don’t know if any male audience members have done that yet. Ed Kuhlman showed up in a huge wig, Dolly Parton-type chest implants and a night gown, but I don’t know if he had fishnets and high heels.

Get your gams, boys; they’re robbing the stage!

Yes, Ed was wearing fishnet stockings and high-heeled shoes (size 12). His dress was actually a maid’s uniform; on him it did look like a nightgown. And me with no camera! Although several other attendees took his picture.

  15. Yeah! Big props to Ed Kuhlman! Who’ll do the stockings and high heels this weekend?

  16. Thanks to the entire Rocky Horror Picture Show production. I saw it tonight — on my 40th birthday — and it was great. Correction: it was really, really great.

  17. BEAUTIFUL. I honestly cannot stop listening to the soundtrack now… I really should sleep after that ordeal.

  18. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you to our wonderful audiences! The Halloween crowds, particularly the midnight crowd, had to be the most raucous bunch ever to take in a show in Northfield. It was rather intense. I paced backstage before my entrance listening to the nearly constant roar from the audience, and thought… “Wow…” and, again, “Wow…” and, once in a while, I thought, “Hot damn!” I waited and waited to go on, shivering in antici …………………………………….. PATION!
