While visiting my favorite house of pain a couple of weeks ago (AKA Professional Drive Dental Group), my dentist, Jerry Appledoorn, told me about his recent trip to Peru. I asked him to send me some photos with a brief explanation:
Our trip this last Jan. involved a medical team of four physicians, three nurses, thirteen St. Olaf students and a professor, myself and two dental assistants. We visited two orphanages and a remote Andean village. We saw about 260 children ages 3 to 17 on this trip, treating many medical and dental problems on a very poor but happy people.
