Alas, I’m a week late with these photos from the Northfield Historical Society (NHS) Annual Meeting and Membership Ball and I didn’t take many as I’d hoped (too much socializing with my sweetie).
But there are a couple of keepers in the batch like the one of Chip DeMann with his registration table work crew and the one of NHS ED Hayes Scriven with his wife Jenny and his parents, Sue and Mark Scriven.

Exec Director Hayes Scriven has posted to the Locally Grown membership sideblog about Saturday’s NHS annual meeting and ball. Here’s a look back at the 2008 and 2009 events:

RCHS board member Kathy Jasnoch, pictured here with volunteer Sandy Vesledahl, commented here that over 400 people attended. Here are four more photos:
I attended the first hour and the last hour of Monday’s Northfield City Council goal setting session held at the Northfield Hospital Board room from 5-10 pm. The husband/wife team of Richard Fursman and Irina Fursman, Global Synergy Group (GSG), were the meeting facilitators.

I’ve got too many daytime hoar frost photos to sort through before I publish them so instead, here are some photos I took early this morning (6-7 am). The glow from downtown’s streetlights on the low cloud ceiling provided just enough contrast.

I spent hours on Tuesday morning taking about 300 photos (some macros) of the spectacular hoar frost, mostly around downtown but also a few at St. Olaf and Malt-O-Meal. Here’s…
